The hype for Battlefield 2042 has players ready to explode with anticipation. Now, EA has announced a Battlefield 2042 Open Beta for Oct. 6–9, 2021.
Players who pre-ordered the game will get an exclusive two-day early access period to the beta on Oct. 6. The beta will open up for all players on Oct. 8.
A Battlefield 2042 beta was originally slated for September, but was delayed as a result of Battlefield 2042’s official release getting pushed. News of next week’s beta leaked yesterday when superfan Tom Henderson noticed a post on the Chinese streaming site Bilibili.
The minimum and recommended PC requirements for the beta are below.

Battlefield 2042 releases on Nov. 19 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. With any luck, this upcoming beta will give us a real taste of what the final game will be like.
