Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Adds New Playlists and Weapon

Recently, developer Treyarch launched the third season for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. And today, they have introduced new content that includes new playlists and a brand-new weapon.

The weapon in question is the CARV.2 tactical rifle, and players can only unlock it by completing in-game challenges. This is the first of several new weapons players will see during Season 3.

And yes, you can take your shiny new gun into Warzone. But only time will tell if this ends up drastically affecting the multiplayer meta of the game.

As for the playlists, these rotate each week. Starting today, players can enjoy a Party Games playlist that includes modes such as Sticks and Stones, Prop Hunt, and Gun Game. Prop Hunt has two new maps available. And if these modes aren’t your speed, you can play different modes in the Yamantau and Diesel playlists.

The update also brings Gunfighter Blueprints back to players. And you may have noticed an unexpected new item in your inventory. After bugs interfered with the event, all players have been awarded the Adler event skin.
