Capcom has announced the next Resident Evil Showcase will take place on Thursday, April 15 at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. BST. You can stream the event on Capcom’s official YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook channels.
The digital event will be hosted by Brittney Brombacher and feature appearances by Resident Evil Village producer Tsuyoshi Kanda and director Morimasa Sato. The showcase will reveal a new trailer and gameplay footage from Resident Evil Village, as well as a few surprises.
Although the tweet above invites you to join the Resident Evil Re:Verse Open Beta Test while you wait for the event, Capcom released a statement later today announcing the OBT is temporarily suspended due to tech issues.
“As we are still seeing issues with RE:Verse OBT matchmaking service, we have decided that until further notice to temporarily suspend the OBT to resolve the problem. We will continue to investigate, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused,” Capcom said.
The first Resident Evil Showcase was held in January and revealed Resident Evil Village’s release date and demo, among other news.
Resident Evil Village is set to release on May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
