CD Projekt RED has gone into crunch mode in order to finish Cyberpunk 2077 on time. This news has reached the general public, so the head of CDPR Adam Badowski published a comment on Twitter:
This statement was released as a reply on Jason Schreier’s recent Bloomberg article. Schreier writes that some of the employees are working at night and on weekends, according to an anonymous CDPR employee.
Cyberpunk 2077 has the chance to be the biggest release in CD Projekt RED history, so the annual profit for 2020 should be quite large. After several delays, the (supposedly) final release date is scheduled for November 19. Recently, one of developers won the first platinum trophy on PlayStation 4.
