Developer Counterplay Games has confirmed that looter-slasher Godfall will require a permanent Internet connection.
This information appeared on the game page in the PS Store and later, was confirmed by the developers on Twitter. In addition, gamers will need a PS Plus subscription to play online. At the same time, the developers noted that Godfall wouldn’t be a service game.
Most likely, a permanent Internet connection will be required for the developers to control looting system and prevent vulnerabilities.
Godfall will be released on November 12 on PC (Epic Games Store) and November 19 on PlayStation 5.
